Sivir Build 2012

Introduction

Phase Play – Sivir build

Level 1 – 6

Preferred Location: Bottom lane

Sivir’s early and mid-game are relatively strong. AD carries are usually put in the bottom lane with the support, so if you know who your enemy AD carry is as well as their support that’ll help you pick your items accordingly. Make sure you last hit all the minions to get gold, if you are behind on gold you won’t be as strong as your enemy. Getting almost near-perfect creeps score is very important. As server, your harasses very strong in lane due to the range of her boomerang blade. When you get to level two you can use her Ricochet for even more harass and damage. You should wait for the enemy to try to last hit that’s when you use your boomerang blade.

Level 7-11

Preferred Location: Lane + Ganking

Around the make game is when the first turret should be taken down, or your either fighting to kill the first Dragon. Most AD carries drop off in damage at this point, but Sivir stays really strong especially if you have a Bloodthirster already complete. You want to keep farming during this stage. If you feel it a fight is in a breakout pretty soon on the edge of your map, get ready to use your ultimate to aid in the team fight. Sivir is great at pushing towers during mid-to-late game. Her boomerang blade and ricochet combo can wave clear with ease, and her ultimate can allow her and teammates to take down towers quickly.

Level 12 – 18

Preferred Location: Behind Tank, Start team fight with Ultimate

Like every other AD carry they shine during the late game and show their true potential. Staying alive is of the utmost importance, because without you dealing damage your team will suffer during fights. If the enemy tank jumps on you use your ultimate to get away and usurer movement speed your advantage, keep kiting him and attacking until he’s dead. Then move on to the other high-priority targets.

Level Up your Q first and as this will be your prime damage spell. One level in W is fine until late game as you will usually just use it for the cloak. Your AOE spell will be next in line for leveling up. This will allow you to push minion waves and do extra damage in group fights. Your Attack Speed is low with this Akali build so as you wait for auto attack use your E to do the extra damage. Your Ultimate is what makes Akali so unique. Try not to waist this on minions and use the stacks only on champions.

I prefer to 1v1 with Akali but within Solo Que you will always find that someone who thinks they are God’s gift to the world and must have a solo lane. Let them have it. Arguing will most likely make the “God Child” cry and feed. Ignore this and take the 2v2 lane wishing them the best of luck. Now while in the 1v1 lane use your Q to last hit minions if your enemy team pushes you too hard. At level 3 go ahead and start damaging your opponent using your Twilight Shroud to protect you from a damage burst from them and the minions. You may get lucky and get a kill if your fighting a squisy. Once you get to 1200 gold port back to base and buy your Hextech Revolver. Bow go ahead and play aggressive pushing your opponent to his tower then backing away to hit middle or check the enemy jungles blue. Ward your jungle bush to avoid being ganked. I recommend that you put the ward at the entrance to baron and just get used to keeping an eye on your mini map.

Level 1-6 for 2v2 Lane

Preferred Location

Bottom Lane

Hopefully your in lane with a support hero who can buy wards and keep you healed. Last hit minions and farm the gold. Keep pressure on the enemy champions trying to land a kill. I usually bate at level 5 allowing their team to push and once I hit 6 I’ll go in for a double kill. This works as long as they are away from the tower. Try not to tower dive unless you have Flash and a decent amount of health stock piled away. Keep an Eye on middle lane as well. Watch and see if its pushing past the middle line. If it does go ahead and head up and gank him for the extra XP and demoralization of their team. This Akali build is not a tanky one and should be used to do an insane of amount of damage in a short period of time.

Level 7-11

Preferred Location

Lane + Roam Ganking

So now your doing insane damage and have been last hitting minions like HotShotGG on 6 cans of redbull and Phreak has kept the camera on you commentating on how you last hit so well, constantly reminding you of that 1 out 6 minions you missed the gold for. If your opponent is playing defensive and keeping far behind his caster minions go ahead and destroy the minions and head to middle. Every two minutes you should be trying to get a gank on middle. See if bottom and jungle wants to dragon if its up. Hopefully your opponent will stay in lane allowing you to keep the team fights to 2v1 and 3v2 than 2v2 and 3v3. When the minions start to head to your tower be sure to get back into lane to get the XP and gold from them.

Level 12-18

Preferred Location

Hidden, waiting for team fight to start

Now that the team fights have started, try to stay out of enemy sight. Watch out for oracles as they will destroy your ability to cloak and avoid enemy fire. Don’t start the fights but wait for your team to take the first round of cool downs and then jump in targeting the AD carries first and then the mages. CC cool downs on most champions are around 7 seconds. So after a count of 6 seconds drop your Twilight Shroud and wait for your Q to come up. Continue the pressure on the enemy carries and once they are gone push onto the tanks. You are an assassin and need to recognize when your team is losing the fight and escape. You can carry only if your alive and that should be a priority. Its only acceptable to die if you have taken 2 carries with you as well.

Miss Fortune (MF) Build – Destroy your Enemies

Abilities

Passive:  Strut

Miss Fortune gains an additional 25 movement speed after not taking any damage for 7 seconds, increasing thereafter by 4 every second up until reaching 70 bonus movement speed.

Double Up

Miss Fortune fires a shot at an enemy target, dealing physical damage and 115% of that damage to another enemy target behind the first. Both hits apply on-hit effects.

Cost: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 mana

Impure Shots

Phase Play – MF build

Level 1 – 6

Preferred Location: Any Lane is Applicable, Mid preferment

As you are a ranged Carry ( one of the best one might add ) your team will usually force you to bottom with a support.  This is not a bad deal as long as the support is not stealing the minions.  The play stay will be the same for any lane your in though.  As you may have noted that I suggest you level up your E first instead of the normal Q.  Why? Simple! because it does AOE damage so its easy to hit your target, it slows your target, and finally it sets you up for two – three auto attacks!  Now this is a HUGE advantage at all levels of play.  Pop your E on the enemy champion and attack.  Use it to farm large minion waves!  E is a powerful spell that everyone overlooks because it doesnt scale with AD.  Your attacks go E >Q >W.  This will drop the slow and do damage.  Next in line is your Q which should arrive right behind your autoattack.  Now this applies onhit affects so if you have 1 point in W your now doing damage plus 12.  Now you pop your W and get tree autoshots in for the win!

Level 7-11

Preferred Location: Lane + Ganking

Now you should have boots and close to Infinity Edge.  If your middle watch both lanes and see if they are being pushed.  If your Solo top or Duo Bottom keep an eye on mid lane and your jungler. Push your lane to the enemy tower and use your awesome Passive for quickly getting to each lane.  I usually get a pink ward to counter the green they will place in the bush.  Your ult is a great spell for getting kills.  Use your E (slow + damage!) and R in combo.  Try to predict where the enemy will run too (usually direct path to tower) and use the terrian to your advantage.   Right before they exit your stream of deadly balls (giggle if you must) stop and auto attack + Q FTW.

Level 12 – 18

Preferred Location:  Behind Tank, Ready to react

Now the team fights are everywhere.  Your a killing machine and the spell rotation is still the same.  Your ult will follow your tanks fight start and will scare the carriers from fighting in most cases.  Save flash for when the enemy melee carriers target you.  If they are stacking armor get an armor pen item ( I prefer The Black Cleaver).  If your going against heal heavy champs like Swain use W to stop the heals ASAP.  Stay out of danger and keep the damage up against the enemy carriers!  If your team is not warding, make sure you do!
